For families raising a child with intellectual disability, questions about the future don’t stop at school age. What opportunities will be available to them? How can we support them to live as independently as possible? Since 1962, MINDS has walked alongside families, supporting persons with intellectual disability through different stages of life. Today, MINDS provides support across inclusive education, lifelong learning, employment development and caregiver support. At the heart of our work is a simple commitment: to empower persons with intellectual disability to lead active, meaningful lives while ensuring their families have the support they need along the way.
