Your donation will help ensure that advocacy led by persons with disabilities ourselves will continue in Singapore. A $50 donation will help cover part of transport costs for members participating in DPA engagements. A $150 donation will help cover the speaking cost of one IA. A $200 donation will help cover the cost for Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) interpretation during one of our webinars or one of our disability awareness talks. A $500 donation will help cover the cost to train one person for one month in disability policy advocacy.
Established in 1986, DPA is Singapore’s only independent cross-disability advocacy non-profit led by and for persons with disabilities. Guided by lived experience, DPA’s board and membership of over 200 individuals are largely made up of persons with diverse disabilities. DPA advances inclusion through disability awareness, accessibility initiatives and policy advocacy. Its programmes include Inclusion Ambassadors, Access Guides and research initiatives that engage stakeholders and policymakers to promote equitable participation and disability-inclusive policies in Singapore.
