Your kind donation will help us to enable more mentoring programmes for the youths we support. For example, we often support youths referred to us by other charities/social service agencies, who are in need of career development support, in 1:1 arrangements; we do not charge the youths for any of our services. Some youths may need support in career discovery to explore particular industries, some may need help in navigating in applying for and securing jobs. Others may need help in building skills for the workplace, such as executive functioning skills, social and communication skills, etc.
You might not heard of us - TAC were founded in 2015 to provide career development support to youths, especially those from more challenging backgrounds - less academically-inclined, lower-income, and/or neurodivergent. We help youths with career discovery, access and preparedness, targeting those in their school-to-work transition, likening this transition to astronauts journeying into unknown worlds, hence our name! We specialise in supporting ITE students; we are located in ITE College Central and East. More than 60,000 youths have benefitted from our career development support since 2015.
