Your donation directly supports trauma-informed care for survivors of addiction (peer support, counselling, and community support programmes). To maintain quality of care, we also provide training and continuing education to all our peer support and counsellor volunteers. Lastly, as we are deeply committed to improving care across Singapore and the region, we also conduct program evaluation and research on best practices in addiction recovery.
Since 2018, The Greenhouse has supported more than 500 trauma survivors, including many of their partners and family members, in their journey of recovery. The Greenhouse provides peer support, case management, counselling and community support to our clients. Studies have shown a strong association between childhood trauma and substance use behaviour — this is why The Greenhouse adopts a trauma-informed approach, making recovery accessible to those from vulnerable and marginalised communities by keeping our services completely free-of-charge and de-identified.
