HEB - Ashram Halfway House

What donations support

Donations to HEB-Ashram support its rehabilitation and reintegration programmes and services for residents and ex-residents. These include counselling, skills-based and vocational training, culinary courses, family support, pro-social activities, employment support and community reintegration initiatives. Donations also support Project Home-Pride, which provides basic home refurbishment assistance to eligible ex-residents and their families to promote stable and supportive living environments.

About

The HEB-Ashram was established by the Hindu Endowments Board (HEB) in 1999. It is largely a secular Halfway House (HWH) dedicated to rehabilitating and reintegrating substance abusers and penal offenders, with a long history of incarceration, into society. HEB-Ashram is currently one of only twelve halfway houses in the Halfway House New Service Model, administered by the Singapore Prison Service (SPS). HEB-Ashram is a registered Institution of a Public Character (IPC), a member of the National Council of Social Service, and an ISO 9001:2015 certified organization with bizSAFE accreditation.
