The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) supports more than 6,000 kidney failure patients, about two-thirds of Singapore’s kidney failure patient population. Most are from lower-income households. While treatment costs close to $3,000 a month, care is highly subsidised, with 90% paying no more than $50 out-of-pocket. NKF remains committed to supporting patients throughout treatment and rehabilitation, while promoting kidney health and prevention.
