A S$50 contribution may help a child or an older resident have a session with a horse, a handler and an instructor. Donations also help feed and care for our school horses. They assist for transport costs in the heartlands so distance and mobility do not decide who takes part, and they send horses to schools, community clubs and neighbourhood events for families who would otherwise never get near a horse.
The Equestrian Federation of Singapore has taught people to ride and care for horses since 1976. At the National Equestrian Centre, riders of all ages ride alongside over 20 school horses, many of them retired racehorses given a second career. We run tailored sessions for students from all walks of life, riding as a school CCA or pony visits to community clubs and neighbourhood events. In 2025 our para riders won the overall team gold at the Asian Para-Dressage Championships.
