Helping Hand, The
Donations will strengthen our residents’ rehabilitation and reintegration journey. Since 2024, we have enhanced aftercare through community befrienders, Family Support Groups, quarterly Family Days and Restorative Circles to strengthen family and peer support. In 2027, we hope to establish a research lab to systematically collect and analyse data, better understand residents’ needs and strengthen our programmes to improve rehabilitation and reintegration outcomes.
The Helping Hand (THH) is a Singapore-registered charity and IPC supporting ex-offenders and their families since 1987. Through our halfway house programme, in partnership with the Singapore Prison Service, residents receive support in work readiness, social reintegration, personal development, healthy living and family restoration. We also work with agencies, employers, volunteers and community partners to help residents rebuild confidence, regain stability and lead independent, meaningful lives. To date, we have supported more than 3,100 residents.
