Funding supports:- 1) Operating costs of TCM clinic - General TCM and Special Care TCM to low-income, disadvantaged and elderly patients on a registration fee of $2, with consultation, acupuncture, cupping, infrared light treatment and 2 days of medication provided free of charge. Patient visits increased to above 60k in 2025. 2) Free funeral services to seniors who may not have dependents or come from low-income backgrounds, so they can continue living with peace of mind. 3) Active Aging program through wellness, recreational and enrichment activities.
Nam Hong Welfare Service Society is a charity providing TCM care, free funeral service, ration, befriending visits and community support for our disadvantaged and elderly beneficiaries, regardless of race, religion, gender and nationality. Nam Hong seeks to provide medical services to help low-income take care of their healthcare needs, supported by our team of experienced physicians and equipped. We maintained a $2 registration fee policy since 2001 for elderly above 60 years old. We believe that those in need should receive medical treatments without being deterred by medical costs.
