What donations support

Every donation to Noah’s Ark CARES goes towards helping us provide care, medical support and protection for Singapore’s community dogs and cats. A significant part of our work focuses on managing the stray animal population humanely through sterilisation. Through Trap-Neuter-Relocate (TNR) project on Jurong Island, we work closely with volunteers, feeders, and veterinarians to trap and sterilise community animals and, where suitable, return them safely to their familiar environments. Donations help cover sterilisation costs, transportation, veterinary treatment, and other expenses involved in these efforts. Our work, however, does not end after sterilisation. Many of the animals we encounter are elderly, injured or sick, while others may not be able to safely return to the streets or be suitable for rehoming. Donations enable us to provide veterinary consultations, vaccinations, medication, diagnostic tests, hospitalisation, surgery and ongoing treatment for animals requiring medical attention. Funds also support the daily care of animals under NA CARES, including those at our shelter at The Animal Lodge in Sungei Tengah and the dogs under our care on Jurong Island. This includes food, shelter operations, cleaning and maintenance, transportation and other daily necessities required to keep the animals safe and comfortable. Where possible, we rehabilitate and rehome animals that are suitable for adoption. For those who are elderly, have chronic medical conditions, behavioural challenges or are simply unable to find a suitable home, we remain committed to providing them with a safe environment and the care they need for as long as necessary. Donations also allow us to respond to animals that are injured, abandoned or in urgent need of assistance, while supporting our community outreach and responsible pet ownership initiatives. Ultimately, every contribution helps us continue our work — from sterilisation and rescue to medical treatment, rehabilitation, rehoming and lifelong care — giving vulnerable animals the opportunity to live with dignity, safety and compassion.

About

Founded in 2005, NA CARES supports Singapore’s community animals through sterilisation, rescue and lifelong care. Through Project Industrial Dogs, Project Cat Snip and our shelters at Jurong Island and The Animal Lodge, we provide vulnerable animals with food, medical care and a safe haven, giving them a second chance at life.
