Your donation enables desistors to engage in counselling, upgrade their skills, pursue their education, receive employment support and essential assistance for their daily needs as they rebuild their lives after incarceration. With your help, we are also able to support desistors and their families throughout their reintegration journey by providing them with access to trained volunteers, professionals and community partners who provide meaningful pro-social support, guidance and appropriate assistance.
Founded in 1956, the Singapore After-Care Association (SACA) supports desistors & their families to rebuild their lives & move forward after incarceration. Through case management, counselling, education & volunteer support, SACA provides practical help, opportunities & resources that strengthen families, encourage positive change & reduce the risk of re-offending. Working with communities & partners, SACA creates pathways to greater confidence, independence & meaningful participation in society. Guided by its mission, “Reintegrating Lives”, SACA continues to turn hope into positive change.
