Your donation supports SCWO’s vital direct services, programmes, and advocacy efforts for women across Singapore. This includes providing safe shelter, counselling, legal support and daily necessities for women and children affected by family violence through Star Shelter; helping women navigate spousal and child maintenance matters through Maintenance Support Central (MSC); and advancing gender equality advocacy and public education through initiatives such as BoardAgender and the Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame.
The Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) is the national coordinating body for women’s organisations in Singapore, bringing together more than 60 member organisations representing over 600,000 women. SCWO works to promote gender equality and address issues such as caregiving responsibilities, workplace discrimination, pay inequalities, and violence against women. Guided by our vision of Equal Space, Equal Voice, and Equal Worth, SCWO strives to ensure that women are safe, equally represented, and fully recognised and valued in society, the workplace, and the family
