Funds raised will be carefully utilised to engage the vulnerable seniors (those with dementia and live-alone) through day activities at our 3 centres, give out meals, transportation to quarterly outings/visits, weekly home care visits, giving out groceries and food rations quarterly to assist needy families in Ang Mo Kio and Yishun areas.
Salem Welfare Services started in 1997 to provide day care and physiotherapy care services. Dementia Day Care programmes was a new service that we started in 2019. We currently run three major programmes that brought helps to the live-alone seniors, needy families and people living with Dementia and their caregivers. Together with ‘those who helped us’ - our staff, volunteers, friends and supporters - we forged a community of people sharing a common belief that together we can turn things around for the better.
