What donations support

Donations received will be used for the following purposes. SCF's Chess For Freedom Programme: An initiative designed to use chess as a rehabilitation tool for inmates. Through chess, inmates can learn important life skills such as logical thinking, making better decisions, and being accountable for one's actions. The Chess For Freedom programme has been ongoing for 3 years and has benefitted over 80 inmates annually. SCF's Para Chess initiative: This project supports people with disabilities by providing regular chess training and special provisions in chess tournaments. Chess is an inclusive game where PWDs are able to compete alongside able bodied athletes. Chess is therefore a tool for PWDs to build confidence and an avenue for them to join inclusive communities. High Performance Systems: Contributions will also be used to support the SCF's High Performance programmes, allowing us to support our national athletes and their pursuit of excellence. (edited)
