Your donation could fund interim food rations to support the needs of low-income families facing financial difficulties, while social workers work with them on longer-term solutions. Funds may also help sustain our Growth Collective programme, which provides structured academic tuition, Socio-Emotional Learning, and warm meals for children within the community. Support could also go towards course fees, training allowances, and job-search guidance for families working towards steadier incomes.
South Central Community Family Service Centre (SCC) supports more than 600 low-income families with young children living in rental flats across the Bukit Ho Swee, Indus, Lengkok Bahru and Redhill communities. SCC’s vision is poverty transformation with-in empowered communities. Moving beyond casework and counseling, we also work to uplift families in the areas of Home Ownership, Livelihood Support, and Child Learning and Development. At the same time, we also help neighbours build networks of mutual support so that help continues within the community itself.
